It began, as many adventures do, with a letter.
A neatly folded parchment arrived for Pastel Plume, carried on a soft morning breeze. The seal bore the mark of Professor Humble, a name known for curiosity… if not always for wisdom. Intrigued, Pastel Plume gathered her companions Umbra Cognis, Gentle Growth, Isabel Fairwind, and Whistling Bells and together, they went to meet the professor.
Professor Humble explained the situation: a fallen meteor had struck a remote town known as Starfall, and tensions were rising. The locals were uneasy, the phenomenon unexplained, and the professor (ever the scholar) was eager to study it. He needed help.
They agreed.
Though perhaps not all for the same reasons.
Isabel Fairwind, in particular, seemed… especially interested in the professor.
🌠 The Journey to Starfall
The road to Starfall was anything but uneventful.
Along the way, Isabel Fairwind struck up an unexpected friendship with a trio of curious crows. For reasons known only to them and perhaps to Isabel herself the three birds decided to follow the party, watching from above and occasionally swooping closer as if part of the group.
Not long after, the party encountered an injured changeling, weak and struggling by the roadside. Where others might have hesitated, the group chose compassion. They tended to its wounds, offering care and kindness instead of fear.
The changeling, moved by their actions, chose to stay with them, no longer a stranger, but a quiet new companion on their journey.
By the time they reached Starfall, the party had already grown in number… and in heart.

⚖️ Two Sides of the Same Problem
The town of Starfall was tense ponies whispered, watched, and kept their distance.
At the center of it all lay the meteor: a strange, shimmering object that seemed almost alive with energy.
On one side stood Professor Humble, eager to study the meteor and uncover its secrets.
On the other stood the Chief of Starfall, firm in his refusal to let outsiders interfere with something that had fallen into their land.
No matter how the party approached it, the Chief would not budge.
🧩 A Different Path Forward
If the Chief could not be convinced… then perhaps someone else could.
The group turned their attention to his daughter.
Through conversation, persuasion, and a fair bit of creativity, they reached an agreement. In exchange for a telescope and a promise to take her along on a journey beyond Starfall—the daughter agreed to speak with her father.
Whistling Bells, ever warm and sincere, went even further forming a heartfelt marriage pact, promising to act as her guardian and companion on the road ahead.
It was an unusual arrangement.
But in Starfall, unusual seemed to be the norm.

🌟 A Gift from the Stars
In the end, it was not argument or force that won the day but trust.
Moved by his daughter’s determination and the party’s sincerity, the Chief relented.
The meteor once a source of tension was given freely.
Not as a concession.
But as a wedding gift.
With that, the party departed Starfall, carrying with them not just the mysterious meteorite, but new bonds, new companions, and the promise of journeys yet to come.
✨ Conclusion
What began as a simple task became something far more memorable:
A journey marked by kindness.
Strange friendships.
Unexpected promises.
And somewhere above them, three crows continued to follow… watching.
Waiting.
